NEVER Use Anti Static Gloves For CPU Installation

Henry

Seriously. DO NOT.

My anti static gloves got caught onto my motherboard cpu pins and slightly bent one or two pins. BUT THANK GOD THE SYSTEM POSTS. I guess either it wasn't bent enough or they weren't important pins.

Thank the fucking lord.

Do yourself a favor, just use anti static wrist wraps. I thought anti static gloves would be more convenient than wrist wraps. I thought wrong. I near died from a heart attack when the accident happened.

Folding for LTT since April 2016.

Or you can do what I do and build a system without gloves or static wrist wraps, and obviously on carpet. Never broke anything yet.

Anti static gloves?

Why would you use that for delicate parts like the CPU or the socket?

I didn't think that it would get caught onto the motherboard cpu pins..
