MSI H97 Gaming 3 vs. Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3

Theyre both roughly the same other than a few more pcie slots or sata ports, whichever one you like better because they will give almost equivalent performance

the gigabyte one is better even when you don't OC (I have it and its best)

you might want to oc a different cpu in the future if you upgrade

plus better power delivery on z boards

I guess I'll go with the MSI H97 Gaming 3 then, since it doesn't have these light parts, and my GPU is MSI as well

 

Seriously, it's annoying when I get a notification that somebody responded, but it doesn't show the rest of the responses.

I didn't think it up though, I just saw it.

If I'm going to upgrade a CPU in the future I'll go with 6th gen or 7th gen or whatever will be most up to date, and also make a jump to DDR4
