Nice sponsor tie-in. My income keeps me from partaking in many recurring subscriptions. But, I'd try for a freebie to attempt convincing me to splurge.

 

The only comic/graphic novel I ever completed, start to finish, was Love Hina. I never had the money to dive into comics. Although The Walking Dead makes me want to try again.

My favorite comic book was one my friend who passed away liked

 

 

i can't think of the name but if anyone knows places tell me. It's a lesser known comic I think

 

its about a guy who I think was a criminal or maybe he fights them now he is big and looks like a big tough guy (not the thing) and he has a side kick or friends who is small and scramwy. Maybe named Watson I forgot.

 

the art style is darker colors. If anyone knows the name please tell me.

 

i think it starts with the (but doesn't every comic start with the word the)

I always read Marvel comics (Specifically Spiderman and Deadpool) when I was younger, even though I wasn't really supposed to haha

there is is a movie based on the comic like a animated movie and it starts by showing them both in a bar.

Thought it was going to be Manga, not American comics... Interesting name haha.

I'm more of a manga reader, my favorties my favorites are definitely Full Metal Alchemist, Rurouni Kenshin, and Naruto. I've read the ocasional Superman and Batman comics, but I'm more into special volumes such as Death of Superman, Knightfall, Flashpoint.

Wow, what a giveaway! I am a huge comic book fan so this is exciting! I've been collecting them since I was nine. Although my collection is mostly full of Batman and Star Wars stuff, I have a pretty large collection now (Marvel and lots of Indie stuff) as I found out buying digital is far more convenient and there's a larger library online for me. But anyways, as to my favorite...that's a bit tough to decide. There is this indie comic series called Rat Queens and I think it is really impressive (Violet = best dwarf ever). The art, story and characters are very engaging and probably the best part about it is how unique it is overall. I mean...just look at this crew!

But I have to say that my favorite comic is Batgirl: Year One, with my favorite series being "Crisis Pieces" (both are DC comics). The latest Black Widow series by Marvel is amazing too, though.

Awesome giveaway~ My answer is going to have to be Amazing Spiderman. I grew up reading it and even though Ive found a lot of other comics that I love, Spiderman still wins due to nostalgia

Hopefully not too late to enter the contest.

 

My favourite comic books, hmmm... I prefer the superhero genre the most, but honestly any thing with a good story will get my interest. I really like DC, and I there are quite a few Marvel titles I enjoy, and even a few independents. I recently got back into reading comics after quite some time away. I was quite surprised to see Comic Bento sponsoring LTT. I have been wanting to try this out since I first found out about the service.

 

I have always been a big fan of the Superman, Justice League, Batman, Green Lantern titles. The Geoff Johns Green Lantern series is really good. There is definitely a slow build up at the beginning of his run and it pays off well. My favourite books were from the death of Superman storyline, its really not that great and there is definitely some 90's cheesiness to it, but there was all this hype around it at the time which made the whole event fun and interesting.

I read Frank Miller's run of Daredevil (before the show came out) and was blown away at the story.  I had no idea that comic books can give a deep story ( to me) like that.
