Is this ok for 920 USD

So I am not good at finding pc parts and such, so i need some help from the community.

Its made for gaming and im not allowed to use wired network. :-(

I already have w10, keyboard, mice, speaker, monitor and headset.

Please come with suggestions on how to make it cheaper.

You don't really need a sound card. Onborad is fine if you have it.

I'd recommend an air cooler, the price / tempreture ratio isn't worth AIO when you could trade that and minor changes for a better gpu. A cpu from microcenter if you live near one would save you a pretty penny as well, sound cards are also generally noted as a waste of money for their minor, minor improvements.

You probably don't need TIM, gives you a temperature couple of degrees colder.

Get a normal air cooler instead of that AIO and replace the 960 with a 380.

I wouldnt get the 850 evo pro. I would just get the regular 850 evo as its cheaper and almost just as fast.

Thanks,

made an update to pc:

use the extra money from "downgrading" the ssd to get a better gpu, more storage like a 1tb hdd, or maybe even use it on a better proccessor but the one you have is fine.

  • R9 390 instead of GTX 970 as it is faster
  • 250GB SSD instead of 500GB then I dumped the money into a 1TB HDD
  • Gigabyte B85 motherboard and I dumped the money into 16GB of RAM and a xeon 1231 v3 (i7 performance without overclocking)
  • 750w PSU for further upgrades

Trust me, this build is better than yours in almost every way. Do this instead.

it looks beastly op, but its overbudget ;(

Do I need a Xeon, wouldnt a i7 be better??

The xeon is on the same level as an I7 and is also cheaper just not overclockable.

Here:

This mother board has an m.2 slot which would give you wicked ssd speeds if you use it

Thanks, the i5 is fine and it looks better than mine ;)

Im not on the red side, but many people have suggested it over the gtx970.

Noob question, will I be able to upgrade from a AMD to a Nvidia?
