the gtx 960 is on the top of the low end, and on the bottom of the mid-tier gpu
to be "future proof" (no gpu is future proof, only remains in the category of "can still run modern games" longer), you should consider upgrading it to a r9 390 (better performance than 970) or 970 (get nvidia's stuff like shadowplay or stream co-op)

while i'd suggest u drop the i7 and get an i5 unless u need dem hyperthreading for multi-core tasks
for light editing, i5 isnt really that much worse compared to an i7, sure it might take up to 20% more time, but u save money and can use it to invest in a better gpu which in return, make your game run 30% faster (or more really, comparing 960 to 390, 390 is about 1.5 to 2x faster than the 960)

also, it depends on what you expect to run the 960 with for 1-2 years
if u expect the crank all the setting to max and get solid fps of over 60 for modern titles 2 years later? i dont think that will happen
if you are willing to turn down effects, run games on medium or low settings, the 960 could last you for quite some time (assuming you're running on 1080p)

hello,
if someone can tell me if this good build pcI'm gonna use this pc for gaming,editing...

Looks good! But you could consider buying a i5 instead of a i7. It would be more balanced.

i7 could be beneficial for editing

an ssd to put premiere or davinci resolve is super useful

budget?

its a decent build, though might wanna toss an SSD in if budget allows to make your system response better

Go with an i5 and get a better GPU (if your priority is gaming). If your priority is rendering, then go with a Xeon E3 1231v3 and an H81 board and still get a better gpu.

what kind of editing? if you mainly will render videos an i5 would do just fine, use the extra money on more RAM to render at a higher speed.

i would get a xeon, use the stock cooler (or at most a hyper 212), a cheaper mobo and an r9 390 and if possible an SSD

the ssd does not help in running the game it's only help in starting the game run faster right ? i mean i can wait 80 seconds more to the games start

For sony vegas i see why you want the i7, there is alot to gain there. The build looks good.
The 4gb version of the 960 is a good choice as many games already use more than 2gb of Vram.

its not just games, it helps with load times of videos in your editing software, helps with boot times, its instant access (no spin-up time)

As others have said, you should get an SSD, they're really not expensive anymore and will give you a noticeable increase in performance. I suggest Samsung 850 EVO or Samsung 950 Pro if you can afford it and your board has a m.2 x4 lane.

You should also look at a slightly better GPU if you plan to game a lot. I would look at AMD since this is more on the budget end.

PSU: EVGA 1200w P2    COOLING: EK AIO Elite 360    CASE: Fractal Design Torrent
DISPLAY: LG CX48 4k OLED    AUDIO: HIFIMAN Arya SE

Also just get the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 cpu cooler.  Same price better performance.

Change the 960 to an R9 380 if you don't need Nvidia's features (because the 380 can perform up to 15% better depending on the game and it costs less).

Both. It can't max out a lot of current games at 1080p.

I would look at the 390 or if you really want to stick with Nvidia, the 970.

Both to an extant...

In my personal opinion, I would sacrifice the i7 for a better GPU.  The 960 isn't terrible but one step up will give you much better quality/performance.

- ASUS X99 Deluxe - i7 5820k - Nvidia GTX 1080ti SLi - 4x4GB EVGA SSC 2800mhz DDR4 - Samsung SM951 500 - 2x Samsung 850 EVO 512 -

Change the i7 skylake for the i5 skylake and ass a 120gb Samsung evo SSD as your main driver for booting and a couple of applications. I haven't checked the prices for the items but If the SSD is cheaper than the difference between the CPU change then upgrade to a 240GB as 120GB can get full quite quickly.
