not worth it imho since its already a decent system. with the new gpus on the horizon id just safe the money until pascal release.

/edit well you might want to upgrade your monitor, a 980 can handle 1440p quite good on high settings.

Maybe something like this?  http://pcpartpicker.com/p/n6JTsY

I think since you want to go for 4k a CPU upgrade could be helpful - even if your's would still do I guess.

Yeah, that's what i was thinking to get, but i want to know if it is worth it that upgrade, because of my 3770 xD

I think you should go fo a 1440p g-sync monitor already. I got a r9 390x and a 1440p free-sync monitor and run every game on ultra.

980 should not have any problem running on 1440p. Plus 4K is really over rated at the moment. Other than games, not much other content that could make 4K shine (maybe it's just me). I would think going for 1440p would be a better choice for the time being.

Basically you just need to get a 1440p monitor and that's it. Don't even need to make any upgrades to your current rig.

At the moment I'm using a 4K monitor and that is why I can tell you not really worth it to me. Most of the time, it's only games that has 4K. Even Netflix have only a few shows that are on 4K.

If you want to get a good 1440p monitor, you might have to ask the rest. I'm not the best person for it.

Hm correct me if im wrong

If i upgrade just the monitor my gpu will work harder and get hotter

But uf i upgrade the mobo etc and buy a second 980 to put it SLI they will work half and they wont get as hot as only one gpu.

I have 1200 € to spend now and maybe just the monitor is a bad choice :/
