will a 10 meter usb extension work with a usb monitor & digital piano?

Hello guys, 

I was wondering if you could help me setup my usb monitor and my digital piano to my computer. the problem is, the monitor & piano are 10 meters away from my pc. I heard that there is a maximum of 5 meters of length for everything to work.

 

Do you think I could buy RJ45 adaptors and use an ethernet cable for the long distance? like these ones: http://www.amazon.com/USB-Extension-Cable-RJ45-Adapter/dp/B004XYEXX4/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

@Minzo, do you have any advice on which adapter to buy? I'm reading a lot of bad reviews on this one.

as long as its an active adapter then it should work

Not him but this has good reviews 

If I use words like probably or most likely, it is because I dislike certainty. These words can probably be omitted and the sentence read as a certainty.
