Easiest way to wipe your harddrive?

Didn't know where to put this but i guess it works here.

So as the title says whats the easiest way to wipe a harddrive? doesnt have to be secure as it will be either reused by me or my father will get it so aslong as the programs and other things doesnt show up again im good.

Disk Management

>Delete all the partitions. 

 

Or insert Windows install media usb/dvd and click install and on the screen click delete on the parations the drive then cancel the install.

Just format it from 'My computer' if you're on windows.

i believe you can use it on usb, but i've used it on cd. i usually run it multiple times.

Active Killdisk also works pretty good. I use it whenever I have to completely erase a drive

If you aren't worried about somebody trying to recover data off of it, just reformat the disk. You can do that during OS install. There's no point in messing around with DBAN or other secure erasing software if you don't need to.

So i put in the disc and then when they let me choose between keeping the stuff or format i just do that?

Sorry that i sound lie a scrub really havent been looking into computer software to much mostly hardware
