$99 for a chair seems to be the sweet spot. But you're 13 and everything is really expensive.

Because they are confy and people pay for it.

Also, check IKEA if you want good but still not super expensive chairs.

That's about how much mine cost. Quick google conversion and mine was 935€ with all of the upgrades

Yep. I was able to choose the finish of the frame (the metal) and the material of the chair itself. Got to choose if I wanted adjustable arms, if I wanted back support pads and the type of wheels on it. My chair is pimp. I love it. The cool thing about it is when it was shipped to me... It was shipped in a giant box already assembled.

Edit: How I found my chair was my brothers company (they run livestrong.com and ehow.com) had these chairs all over their offices and on a visit I fell in love. Ordered one the same day

you can always get 25e ikea chairs, work fine for me.

Buy a nice chair the first time round it will last and stay comfortable and be more comfortable than a cheap one. I would say that ~£150 will probably get something good.

If you want something with good ergonomic features that won’t crap out on you I would ~£150 is a good mark, If you want something truly premium yes you do need to spend that sort of money .

You don't pay for the quality chair when you go below 100usd. I've had a bunch and like one that i bought here in Norway is like 50 usd but the back on the chair kept breaking every so often (I went trough 4 or 5 of those) and then i bought the one i have now which is like a split recliner/office chair that is really comfortable and expensive.

 

You pay for quality when you get expensive chairs
