If I were to buy AIO Coolers, one for the CPU and one for the GPU (i5-3570k, GTX 660Ti PE OC), would I need 1 AIO for each component? Is there a simpler way?

I was looking at the NZXT Kraken X61 and the NZXT G10. Are there ways to connect them? I'm just very curious about how someone would connect everything in a single loop, given the two restricted components and not resorting to custom loops. Are there other AIOs that would work for this situation?

You have to use an AIO for either component, so a total of two.

You use the G10 to secure the X61 onto your GPU.

This is two independent cooling loops - there are not AIOs with two cooling blocks AFAIK.

yes you need a separate AIO per component

you cannot expand an AIO

if you want all in one loop you need to buy an "expandable aio" aka prebuilt custom loop from EK or swiftech

and you should know how to watercool before you go opening up and modifying custom loops

Aw :c I have no experience with water cooling whatsoever and have only ever watched videos and videos upon it. I don't have the equipment or anything to make it look nice.

In other words, what you're saying is I'd need 2 Kraken and the G10 bracket. That would..indeed suck.

yes there is a simpler way if you want an aio for both the gpu and cpu check out the ek predator although i dont know if your gpu has a waterblock for it

Essentially. I did that with my ref 290x - you would not believe how much my case cleared out after I got a Tri-X 390x and removed the second cooler.

It comes at a fortune! xD I guess I'll have to either learn how to water cool properly or wait for prices to drop.

its cheaper than a full custom loop

i have sunk about $500 dollars for a custom cpu loop although i will admit mine is a bit unusual
