The 270x/7870 GHz tends to be the most similar in performance to a GTX 950. For current gen cards, the 370 is generally a bit worse while the 380 is generally a bit better.

The card in the same price bracket is the R7 370 if I remember correctly, the GTX 950 outperforms it however.

spend the extra $$ for a 4GB R9 380...that will have you set for a while and you won't be disapointed...the 950 is on the weak side and you don't get very good 1080p performance for the money you'd spend on it.
