Notepad++ (500+ hrs) change the backgroune color, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse. That would be my recommendations. Also MonoDevelop if you are using unity 5.

Go to the Visual Studio website... You can also code JS and HTML in Visual Studio 2015 if you'd like

I use Atom for almost everything but java which I use eclipse for it is built by git hub and features a lot of customization and it is free without the popups that come with the free version of sublime

Atom is great, N++, Sublime and VSC aren't nearly as good.

Congratulations, you're now on a watch list.

Depending on the language I usually just use whatever IDE jetbrains makes because with a student verified account I get access to almost all of their programs for free. IntelliJ for Java, Pycharm for Python. I use CLion for C++ usually, but most people prefer visual studios. Sublime text for anything else.
