If you really need the Professional version, go ahead and buy it from where it's the cheapest.

 

If you're just randomly editing videos and are not a professional, I'll suggest getting Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 12 instead. It's much cheaper, consumer friendly and it's not that limited as people think it is.

If you need a professional software to edit, by all means, go ahead and buy it. But i would recommend you want to downgrade to a slightly less powerful software as you will probably utilise the features better. 

 

Sony Vegas Pro 12 has some features that you would probably never use in the whole time you edit.
