Asus PG348Q

jinroh10

As interesting as it looks, how many of you are gonna be getting the Asus PG348Q? Will you trade off your 4K or 165hz monitor to go 21:9 at 100hz?

ive been using the PG278Q (TN 144hz gsync) since its release in October and got the PG279Q (ips 144/165hz) in november 2015. the 165hz is just marketing and has more input lag than 144hz.

ive bought the x34 at the beginning of the year to test if 100hz is enough, well i can tell for sure.. but 21:9 is just damn nice. im gonna pick my PG348Q up today (im in switzerland) and hope ill get a good one. had to exchange the other monitors ive mentioned at least twice until i got a good one. if the PG348Q does 100hz, has no scanlines i can finally sell my other monitors :P

Yeah, it came out on Monday, however Scan is testing my monitor, (as I spent nearly £6K in a month) it is coming tomorrow, I think £1000 is fine for this monitor, as it comes with so many features like 21.9, 100hz and Gsync

If ASUS decides to get their act together then I might consider it. Until then, ASUS is firmly on my blacklist.

I'm planning to get one once they start selling in the states. For those that have it, hows QC? Any dust under the glass or bad bleeds? I had a lot of problems with the Acer XB270HU when it released. I had to send back like 7 of them and eventually just took a refund.

I have no idea at all, and I am not sure when the Asus PG27AQ is coming to the United States. They're available in Europe and Asia, but not even here :(

Same can be said of Acer lol. I RMA'd 7 of their monitors before they gave up and told me to just take a refund. They refused to QC the monitor before shipping it to me.

And also does this monitor support ULTRA LOW MOTION BLUR?? It was advertised at the beginning to have it. Or did Asus decide to be lazy and screw it?

Anyone please give a review for that monitor. I was thinking about getting it, but I can't trust Asus after what I've see with their PG279Q.

ive preordered at digitec. it does not have ULMB since it requires 120hz. but ghosting is almost nonexistent compared to the PG279Q ive used the last 4 month. ghosting was pretty bad on my unit.

Seems like Steg electronics also sells it. However, that price is...a little high though LOL...

What's your GPUs? Did you play some of the high quality games with it? Surely, it should look stunning...
