Hey, sorry for trying to sell something of mine but i was just curious if anybody was interested in my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate mechanical Keyboard 2014.

I'm looking to upgrade to the rgb chroma version of this keyboard. And i'm sorry that i don't have any pictures but if someone is interested i can always put up some pictures.

The condition of the keyboard is next to mint, it has been used only of multiple occasions and for a short period each time, it has the full box and all of the including things such as the razer booklet and then plastic protective case.

I am in Australia, Victoria, Melbourne.

If anyone is interested just reply to this i guess and i can work out a price with you:) Thanks heaps in advance.

Sorry if I am not able to post things about selling and buying as i am quite new to forums as such:)

yeah, do we even have a classifieds since the update?

@OP, if you want to sell it, /r/mechmarket or GeekHack.org would be your best bets.

because ebay costs are stupidly high. Although, thinking about it, OP might actually get more money there than one of the mech communities, because nobody who is into keyboards is going to buy a razer board for much of anything.

On keyboard forums, you will be publicly shamed, tarred and feathered for having bought a Razer keyboard past 2013.

The anti-fanboys will come after you with torches and pitchforks. Even ppl with regular membrane keyboards are at least given a slight bit more respect than ppl that got Razer green switches.

It's just what I've observed.

Generally the argument, is:

  1. Poor quality control
  2. High price: Equivalent of much higher quality products.
  3. Kailh manufactures switches and they get rebranded as Razer switches (Greetech is doing the same for the new Das switches)

If you look for a keyboard with Kailh switches, then compare the price to Razer's keyboards (at same functionality) you'll start to feel like you paid too much.

Personally, I see them as about equivalent of Logitech, but with much more gamer oriented marketing as a whole company, whereas Logitech has product segments .

Custom branding seems to be all the rage now. Seems a great way to hide that you're not using Cherry MX switches without immediately inheriting the poor quality of a variety of Cherry MX clones.
