Do you ever look at your keyboard when typing?

kenjigreat

I don't, well depend on the keyboard's size. If the keyboard fits well to my "fingers" then I don't need to look, if it's too small, big or not ergonomic then I might still look just in case.

I dont need to lool at it as far as game uses the common key bindings.

However when it comes to typing i do need to look occasionally at the keys because I dont use more than 4 fingers. Mainly becauae i communicate with mic more than i do typing.

When i was i. College i should have learnt to use at least 8finger typing, would be much faster typist than i am now.

I normally don't other then for symbols however my keyboard doesn't have them marked now so I don't look for that anymore.

My little brother had some caps switched and I noticed I would type correctly until I looked at the keyboard lol

hehehe!

I'm weird, because I can actually touch type, but I occasionally find it difficult to type without looking at the board when the caps I'm using have legends on them, but I'm also totally fine when it comes to typing with blanks. Just a weird thing about me. I definitely don't need to look though, and I'm gradually getting myself out of the habit of looking down.

All the time.

When looking for shift+# for a symbol.

When doing a ctrl+ letter shortcut

When initially putting my hands down on the home row

When using any of the naviation buttons

When initially moving my hands to home position on the number pad

When pressing a F key

When pressing keys that I don't usually use, I have to look. It's funny that never realised I don't look, it just kind of happened.

i dont look at mine until i need a specific icon such as %$(@ ect as the always seem to move around on different keyboards.

i learnt to touch type at a very young age.. mainly as i didnt know what else i could do with a pc in the very early 90s!!

I used to type looking at the keyboard, but after that while working in a part-time admin job, I actually learnt to type without looking at it. But I still have to look down for typing symbols though.
