I am building my first PC and wanted some input from the more experienced people on the forum.

My budget is £1300

This is what I have chose so far: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1Bm5K

I haven't choosen a Graphics Card yet because I am waiting for the 9000 series however I kind of want more than a £300 graphics card.

I intend to game on this system and also edit/render videos and images.

Thanks

Nice! maybe you could upgrade it later and put something like 32 gigs RAM in it because you render, and maybe an SSD :)

never mind i didn't see the SSD :P

Looks good, Vengeance Pros are better but more expensive, Kingston HyperX Beast seems like a good alternative. Also you might consider a better PSU, like something from TX and HX series.

depends if that is his actual job or not, I wouldn't get that much because it doesn't make sense

He makes his money of YouTube (i don't know him personally but he made video's about his personal rig and stuff) so you can say it is his job

yeah that's what I thought, since this is probably not his primary thing (my assumption, if it is, go for it although it will kill your budget) I wouldn't recommend it, just too much money

Can't afford any more expensive RAM or power supply really :( I still need a graphics card in my budget

Then get cheaper other parts that don't affect anything, like motherboard, if you don't plan on 4.6ghz+ OC, the G45 will be fine. And as far as I know the Beast RAM is cheaper than Vengeance.

It looks great, I can only suggest you get a better PSU. Also make it around 750w so you can crossfire in the future.

Only some do that, if yours does, you have rights to RMA it. Seasonic makes the best PSUs BTW.

Wait for the 9000 series--plan then. Parts and prices change frequently.
