Vertical standing 3.5" hdd mount/bracket available?

rasesh

Hey guys i have a mini-itx case and my 3.5" hdd will not fit horizontally but it will fit 1 or 2 of 3.5" hdd if i were to mount them in the case vertically.

I did some research & found the following:  Fractal-Design-Node-804-Install-drives.j

Anyone know where i can purchase a bracket similar to the one shown here BUT for 1 or 2 x 3.5" hdd's? and maybe simplier in design then the one above?

I need it to be able to be screwed down in the case to be able to hold it up strong vertically.

Thanks!

What case are you working in?

As you can see in the image above this case is obviously not cable managed properly but mine will be, but i want 1 or 2 3.5" hdd in between the psu & the aio cooler.  I need to be able to screw the hdd bay into the bottom of the case.

If i can find a bracket like that it would be perfect. As you can see it has room vertically but not horizontally.

One is a WD Black Edition 4TB.

Another one is a Samsung 7200Rpm 1Tb.

The only reason i didn't want want more "external enclosures" is because i already bought one for my internal optical drive to external.  It would really suck to have so many external devices laying around.

Well, it would be better if you ether got a bigger case, or get an External Encloser.

Because he had a hard drive.

Do you think maybe i can attach 1 more 3.5" hdd mount on the other side of the top cover? I don't know if it's long enough to fit 2 though.

Take a look:

$35 for a enclosure, damn man.

It's great Build Quality and Fast Speeds (At least for my Drive)

Also it's like 22$ USD so it's not that much for the Price

Look at the Reviews for the US Page

Just build your own with some wood because it doesnt seem like anything is gonna fit in there unless you just chug them in there

1 USD  is Equivalent to 1.33 CAD but I promise, you won't regret buying it

Yeah but it's $65 for a 1tb HDD, hard to pay another $35 for a enclosure, rather buy a external hdd for $90.

Sadly it's already been bought a while ago so ... dont have that option.
