No POST on ASRock Z75 Pro3

Penny5837

Computer powers on, fans spin up for about 5 seconds, no video is displayed and then shuts off. Goes in this loop until I unplug the system. I think it has something to do with the BIOS, but I could be wrong. Thanks.

try reseting the cmos and then if it doesn't try switching cpu's and make sure everything is connected

Clearing CMOS did nothing, and I don't have another CPU lying around.

Try reseating the ram.  Otherwise,  one thing that saved me was to put a jumper on the me_unlock pins.

You don't even try and repair it. Most manufacturers will repair a few bent pins under RMA, that's the first thing you should try before taking a screwdriver anywhere near the socket.

Main Rig:-

Ryzen 7 3800X | Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming | 16GB Team Group Dark Pro 3600Mhz | Corsair MP600 1TB PCIe Gen 4 | Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse | Corsair H115i Platinum | WD Black 1TB | WD Green 4TB | EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W | Asus TUF GT501 | Samsung C27HG70 1440p 144hz HDR FreeSync 2 | Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS |

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)

I'm the third owner of the motherboard.

Then a tiny flathead screwdriver and a magnifying glass is your only choice.

Good luck.
