Break some records and/or be able to say you have the fastest 8800GTS?

Presumably still inside of them, I never cut them open or anything. By the way, you wanted to know what happens when you break one open? Pretty much absolutely nothing. What happens when you heat one up too much? The damn thing explodes very forcefully. It happens at least 4 hours ago and my ears are still ringing. Needless to say I soldered this one with gun-range headphones and my safety squints on my face

The ringing is going away. It is basically gone now. This happened before when a soda bottle couldnt handle the pressure I put into it. Except that I couldnt hear for the rest of the day. How in the holy fuck do I always score perfect on my hearing tests

Don't worry, I am trying to overclock this Pentium and it does not want to go higher than 3.6 @ 1.4v so we are in the same boat

Yea I am going ham on the Cinebench thread now... it's like an addiction, plus it is fun seeing how all the CPUs stack up with each other and gives me a reason to overclock my 775 chips to death :P

This looks vry professional and if the heat pipes still work, it will do a great job in spreading the heat.

You can test the heat pipes by putting one end in hot water. The other side should heat up within seconds.

Mineral oil and 40 kg aluminium heat sinks are a perfect combination: 73 cores and a Titan X, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Oil

They all seem to work! Pretty good for a price of nothing! Thanks for the kind words, I hope to keep this thread updated. Tomorrow I will be picking up a crapload more aluminum
