Posted February 3, 2016 I am buying 32GB of ram, so that I can put Starcraft II in a RAMDISK and have good loading times. Which one should I get? 1600MHz 9-9-9-24-2N (G.SKILL Ripjays X) 1866MHz 10-11-10-30 (Corsair Vengeance Red) 2400MHz 11-13-13-31 (Corsair Vengeance Pro) All three rams are the same price (around 160-170$ for 32gb). I have a 4790k @ 4.9ghz and 980 ti. Posted February 3, 2016 The 2400 will have a faster overall speed including latencies than the 1600 and you may be able to tighten the timing a bit too make it even faster. I just went from c9 1600 to c11 2400 and got a good 10% increase in min fps and a 5% increase in avg fps for GTA v LTT Community Standards Welcome!-A quick guide for new members to LTT Man's Machine- i7-7700k@5.0GHz / Asus M8H / GTX 1080Ti / 4x4gb Gskill 3000 CL15 / Custom loop / 240gb Intel SSD / 3tb HDD / Corsair RM1000x / Dell S2716DG The Lady's Rig- G3258@4.4GHz(1.39v) on Hyper 212 / Gigabyte GA-B85M / gtx750 / 8gb PNY xlr8 / 500gb seagate HDD / CS 450M / Asus PB277Q
