Low budget fallout 4 1080p ultra/high tips needed

Hi,

I ma About to build my first pc because my old pc cannot run fallout 4

i am looking for upgradeability mostly.

The plan so far is:

MB: msi z170 a pro

cpu: Intel i3 6100

ram: Kingston hyper fury black hx424c15fb-8  ( 1 stick 8g ddr5 2400)

gpu: gtx 960 4g?

storage: kingston 120 g  ssd and my old 1 Tb drive after formatting

case/powersuply: atx size and a gold 750 w provided by a friend

 

Im mostly worried About gpu.... But Any advice is welcome.

€550 is a hard cap 

im reluctant to go older cpu in case i want to upgrade in a Year or 2.

might add a second stick of ddr at Some point

 

1. Budget & Location

My budget is basicly non existent but im going with €550 max

location is netherlands.

2. Aim

upgradeability

gaming

fallout 4 (1080p ultra/high 30 fps minimum) hopefully

mount and blade 2 bannerlord (when iT releases)

and older games mostly single player rpgs

 

and since iTS connector to my tv ... Playing movies

 

3. Monitors

1 tv

maybe a monitor at Some point

4. Peripherals

I have those

5. Why are you upgrading?

My old beast cant run THE latest titles

system is a store bought

you will want something better than a 960 for high/ultra. since youre on a budget maybe try finding an old / still new 290 or 290x

Thank you for The pointers. I think i might go 380. I am not confident i would hè able to judge quality on a second hand card.
