I've been using GO Keyboard Lite for sometime. I like the layout and configuring of it. But at the moment all bugs and aggressive advertising is getting really annoying. So looking for something else. I need it to be app since Samsung's own keyboard doesn't have hotkey for turning auto-correct on/off.

Things I would like to have:

  • 3:4 layout
  • Hotkey for turning T9 on/off
  • Hotkey for changing language
  • Easy adding new words while typing
  • Darker theme (can live without)

Prefer free one but I could spend some max 3€ on good one.

I just use hacker's keyboard. Not sure of the customizibility though. It has a full desktop keyboard option, with ctrl keys and arrow keys and such. Keyboard shortcuts like ctrl C and ctrl V work

I use SwiftKey, personally. I don't think it has a hotkey to change languages quickly, but you can change the language on it - haven't tried changing languages as I only speak English. Dunno about T9 either.

It has dark theme, easily add new words, etc. It's free so no harm in just trying it out.

I just alternate between the google keyboard, and swift key. In my opinion they're the best android keyboards because of how simplistic they are and how they simply just work.

Wanna hang out with me and people like @Theslsamg, @ Ssoele, @BENTHEREN, @Lanoi, @Whiskers, @_ASSASSIN_, @Looney, @WunderWuffle, and @nsyedhasan. Well.... Check out: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/48484-unofficial-linustechtips-teamschnitzel-server-teamspeak/

i use the google keyboard and i love it

I second this. Google Keyboard seems to have the best suggestive/auto correct features aswell as it include Swype functionality if you want to use that.

I'm currently using Swiftkey Neural. Not sure if it's better than normal Swiftkey but it certainly sounds cool. Also love the feature that shrinks the keyboard so I can easily do 1 handed typing (although this feature is also available on normal Swiftkey and Minuum).

After trying out suggestions I found that layout I'm looking for is called T9 (which I thought was name for auto-correct). Fleksy is best of suggestions for having hotkey for turning auto-correct off. Yet none of these (didn't even bother with Swiftkey) has T9 layout.
