So I found out about another "form factor" of power supplies. It's called Pico power supplies. The only ones I can find don't have very reputable brands behind them.. As far as I'm aware. Neither are they very high wattage (usually around 150w). But they look so cool! It's basically an external power supply with all the right connections (24-pin, 4-pin CPU, Sata, etc) and that allows for some seriously TINY systems.

Like imagine a R9 Nano on its side, minor ITX board with an m.2 SSD, and like that noctua super low profile cooler. That is just really cool for a SFF lover like me:)

Anyway I just think it would be cool if Corsair, silver stone, or EVGA made one of these with decent wattage? Doubt it'll happen considering silver stone is the only one with SFX PSU's. (Corsair FINALLY releasing one soon with the Bulldog)

the R9 Nano uses up to 175Watts of power

the PSU will barely have power to even power it on

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Flex ATX ones are probably some of the smallest ones our there, some others like from HD plex are also pretty small, for those kinds of system specs a pico wouldn't be able to keep up:

That's why I was saying I would like it if a reputable brand made a higher wattage version. :)

it kinda small market for them

yes we are going smaller in CPU size

but power draw is still not yet small
