Posted January 28, 2016 I just switched over from console, and was wondering about cpu overclocking. First i was wondering if anyone knew if my mobo was able, second what are the risks, and third would a hyper 212 evo be able to keep it cool? Posted January 28, 2016 Yup its fine. Set the voltage to 2.0 and the clock speed to 10 Giggawiggles and off you go! (Not, please don't do this). Linus is my fetish. Posted January 28, 2016 Just tweak it up slowly, if you get cooling issues or stability issues then tweak it down until they stop. And AIDA64 will do for a good stability test. 10 minutes stable is good enough for you to keep those settings, if you continue on and see any stability or cooling issues to tweak it down even more.
