It depends on the link you used. I use the plain link(linustechtips.com) on mobile and it never takes me to any post.

Why is it that whenever I try to browse the forum on mobile it takes me to the last post?

 

Is it just my phone and is there a way to fix it?

wait a few weeks and an update will be pushed, for the whole forum

and mobile is fixed. its much better

My phone automatically goes to the mobile site, but I just go to the desktop site. It works if I do that. I didn't mean the last thing posted on the forum, I meant the last thing posted on a topic when I clicked on it. Thank you!

Its just how current mobile version works. Nothing can be done to change it. And if there would be possibility, they won't since new version is so close to release.

It goes to the first unread post, or, if you've read all the posts, the last post. We'll be updating to the next version of the forum software very soon though, and when we do, the title of the thread will take you to the first post, and the blue dot will take you to the first unread post, as it does on the does on the desktop site currently.

I only have that problem that it takes me to the last site of a thread if I'm not logged in into my account on my phone.
