My first build, help?

Okay, so I'm going to build my first computer and I've spent hours filling an amazon cart over the past few days. So, I would like if some of you could run over what I have so far and make sure I'm not making any fatal errors or obviously bad choices. Thanks a million!

 

Here's what's in my cart. I'm hoping everything is just plug and play friendly. Let me know if there are more optimized choices that are popular.

I already have a mechanical keyboard and a mouce. I understand I still need to get windows 10 ($100?) and a monitor + speakers (~$130?). So all in I'm around $840. I want to keep it between $750 and $950. I would really appreciate it if some of you could have a look over everything with your expert eye and let me know if there are some components I should/could swap or some different ways to optimize my build. I would consider an entirely different build because I really don't know much.

 

PS. I'm going to use the tower for playing Starcraft 2 and running some flight simulators. Also, I'll need a usb wifi antenna?

For flight simulators your going to want to have a quad core processor. And personally I'd go with the 750ti instead of the 740 although the 740 has 4 gigs a memory which is helpful in flight sims. Either one should be good though.

Yes, a PCIe or USB wifi card/plug would be needed if the motherboard doesn't have built in wifi.

The parts you put together yourself aren't a huge ripoff compared to a prebuilt and a custom built usually has much better price/performance and performs better in general.
