Posted January 26, 2016 Greetings, my fellow TechTipers ! I have a very brief inquiry relating to desktop backgrounds. I'm running two monitors on my rig, non-similar in brand and resolution, both running as a extended-desktop-display-thing, not in mirrored-mode. When I set a new wallpaper for one of these coveted monitors of mine, it automatically sets that same wallpaper unto my other monitor.. So, my question; is it somehow possible to set an individual background for both of these monitors at once? Any replies would be appreciated. Thank You for Your Time, -Will. Thanks for reading! Posted January 26, 2016 Yup. It's entirely possible and easy enough. Hold down CTRL and click on the two images you want to select them, let go of the CTRL and right click on either one of them and select 'set as desktop background' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted January 27, 2016 Win7 and older: You will need any multimonitor software or some crappy free one.
