Transporting PC

Didn't really know where this topic should go, so forgive me if I chose incorrectly.

I am about to drive 1k miles for relocating - should I be worried about my PC? I have a Fractal Define S and was obviously going to attempt to cushion it as best I could (I meant to keep the box so I could just stuff the built system into it - but I spaced out on that). Should I remove any components? I still have the respective boxes for individual components of the GPU, Mobo, PSU, etc. The suspension in my car isn't racecar stiff, but it's no caddy either.

Any tips?

It should be fine but I would remove the video card/s and place them back in their box/es. That is what I do when transporting them and have had no problems.

I would remove the video cards and if you're using an air cooler of sorts, taking that out too might be a good idea.

pull out the GPU and put it in a separate box, preferably if still have the retail box left

also if you have a heavy air cooler, you should remove it as well

As said above remove video card.

And if you are using a big cpu cooler, it's probably a good idea to take that off too.
