Change the app drawer on the Moto G

IAmAndre

Hi,

I have a Moto G 3rd gen, and I would like to know if it's possible to have a horizontal app drawer. The phone is running Android 5.1 and the apps are listed vertically, which I don't like. I don't want to root it or change the launcher, but I'm just curious to know if there is an easy way to do that, or if the Marshmallow update would change that.

Thanks

You can use a custom launcher, like Go Launcher or Nova Launcher, which have their own app drawers (and I know on Go Launcher at least you can change the scrolling in the app drawer. Would recommend taking a look at it)

Well Google Now launcher is installed by default. I might try the other now at some point.

Most third party launchers enable customization of the app drawer. Default launchers usually don't and neither does the Now Launcher.
