Any modelers out there?....

So me, my brother (a coder/games designer) and a friend or two of mine (artwork/textures) are going to be making a video game but we need a modeller as I nor my brother know nothing of modelling.

We are sort of looking for a modeller to asist with the project...it will not be a full time thing.

OP, do you need anyone else for something? I might volunteer for free.I can't do modelling and only used a little bit of UE4 butI could help you with lag compensation and stuff if it's an online game. Or in level design, planning wise.

Not really an online game was going to be single player and perhaps cooperative if the demand was there :)

How did you know it was gonna be in the UE4? ;)

Justr curious is it paid or not ^^ (Not that I can I am actually busy with my own project and have a couple of artists but still need more)

It would not be paid position at the start...but would be when it becomes greenlit and we have the ability to sell :)

Am I the only one who thought it was going to be about model planes, ships, and stuff like that? I was all ready to brag about my awesome award winning model of the Bismark....

"Normandy" i7 4790K - GTX 970 - Phantom 410 (Gun metal) - Z97 Extreme4 (asrock) - 128GB Crucial SSD - 1TB WD HDD - H60 Refurb. - 7 case fans | G710+ Keyboard, G230 Headset, Acer GN246HL Monitor.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

Well, I didn't know it would be in UE4, I just wanted you to know that I have spent a few hours using it. I could spare some time to help you plan out your environments or just general planning. And don't worry, I'll do it for free since I just want to gain some experience before I make my own game.

what kind of work? there are different kind of modelers out there.

Soft body and hard body etc. and no I'm not talking about people modelling Lawl xD

any specific program you need it from? Does it need to be animated?

Etc more info is needed for anyone to actually help

I have no idea what those are lol

It will likely involve modeling and animating the characters and NPC's as well as environmental objects too so probably quite the variety :/
