Please Help me find a lens mount for the Helios 44-2

Go to solution Solved by ShadowCaptain,

Agreed, a native mount 50mm lens would perform just as well or perhaps better.

However if you're still adamant about the Helios lens, I believe this is the adapter you need.

Yep that would do it

but I think OP should get this, $50 for a 50mm F1.8 lens with AF

Hey guys!
So recently I've been interested in photography, however I don't plan to invest ALOT of money into it just yet. So I've been searching and searching and searching for a cheap lens with insanely good reviews! And I found the Helios 44-2 prime lens from Brandon's recent recommendation of it. I have a relatively old Camera, Canon T1i, which was passed onto me. I have no clue of what the mount for this it yet. Hence, I have no Idea what adapter to use for this certain Lens for the T1i. Help me please :) Thank you!

Google "mounting Helios lens to Canon camera", that will help you find the right adapter.  I don't have time to find it for you right now.

Hey guys!

its M42 mount

However, I would actually recommend the Canon FD 50mm f1.8 instead

(or even just buy the proper canon 50 f1.8, its super cheap, especially the old one, or get the Yongnuo clone!!)

I'd go with the Canon lens.. which I did... Was pretty well priced - would have loved the STM version but couldn't afford it.
