Here are the specs:

- Dual Xeon E5345 @2.3Ghz
- 28GB DDR2 ECC RAM
- 2.2 TB Storage (4×500GB + 2x80GB WD Raptor Drives)
- Dual redundant 750w Power Supplies

All in a 2U chassis. And a side note, the hard drives are significantly newer than the system (2013-ish)

How much do you think this is worth? I think around $350 is a fair price, but I want other peoples opinions please :) Thanks!

I think your biggest problem will be the 2u case. If a company was looking to buy, they'd just get new or go to a store that sells such things with warranties.

The average person on Craigslist will see it as useless.

Used server hardware is worth next to nothing.

Normally we don't really answer favorably to this type of question, people usually bring in rigs they think are powerful and worth it compared to a prebuilt only to find out that it's actually worth a lot less...

Though I'm happily surprised to say, that isn't a bad deal.

maybe $450 to $500 it still has ddr2 so that might be the deciding factor for some people. Put it on craigslist, post it on ebay get it out there.

Personally I would pay somewhere in the area of 300-350.

If you can't sell it for a profit, don't be surprised.

Servers don't sell very well anymore as people do build their own NAS's and don't want to buy older hardware.

If all else fails, part it out. The RAM could sell for about $150 at least.

Try parting it out. You can probs sell the hard drives for upwards of $200 as well and if the case is one of those where you can hot-swap drives sell that for a pretty penny.

I did just a few minutes ago, put it on Colorado Springs Craigslist. I might throw it on Denver's craigslist too, as it's a larger city.

I'm going to try to avoid eBay as much as possible due to shipping costs... it's heavy af :P
