iFixit doesn't have particularly cheap shipping either; I paid $11 (for the cheapest option) to have the 54 bit driver set shipped to me (in the US).

Sure but I can get free shipping on amazon UK (and free prime shipping)

 

like $55 is cheap - its £38

 

BUT add on $13 shipping its now £48 - Assuming I pay NO import tax

 

And its £48 on amazon ANYWAY with free delivery direct to my door with

I see. Then this massdrop sale is not worth much. Seeing as how deliver always takes more time than amazon or the likes. And shipping prices kinda suck.

New one doesn't have a lot of new stuff though aside from some little spudger things, guitar picks, a few more screwdriver heads, and some other gimmicky stuff that iFixit makes.

If this was the Repair Business Toolkit, I'd go for it in a heartbeat. Canadian dollar and shipping makes it a practical non-starter though.

I've always found ifixit kits to be meh. They're overpriced and Massdrop isn't giving a good enough deal on it. I spent $10 on a screwdriver with some bits, another $6 for a set of torx bits, and I got a magnetic dish tray for free. I use old cards instead of the plastic tools they have and so pretty much, I spent $16 to do the same thing as that $50-60 set of tools.

I got the Pro Tech kit for Christmas a couple years ago, is it a pretty sweet small tools kit.

Funny thing is you can piece this stuff together for around $30 on amazon and harbour freight tools.
