Title says all, doesnt my soc force mobo support m.2?

It doesn't have a slot for it. So if you want m.2 you need a pci-e adapter.

Is the price that much higher compared to just the m.2 ssd?

Quickest way is to look at your board and see if there is a M.2 connector on the board itself.

It isnt always stock, sometimes it is on Auto OC, and PCI-e 2 Isnt going to be slow enough to not use it for M.2 So you may aswell just get an adatper, and M.2 = Less lanes for GPU :P

i have one gpu, so that doesnt matter :)

Except this is a board that is commonly used with 4 So why limit overclockers when that is what the board is intended for?

No one is stupid enough to run 4 GPUs on Z97. Quad SLI and Crossfire is for X79 and X99

Well, im recieving my 980ti golden edition tomorrow, should mix perfectly with my z97 soc force :D
