How come more laptops don't use the GTX 965m?

There's a massive performance jump from the GTX 960m to the GTX 965m, almost double, yet the TDP is only 5W more. I would think this would make the GTX 965m the ultimate go-to laptop GPU from a price to performance standpoint, but yet I don't see it included in price to performance laptops. Hell, the Dell Inspiron i7559 which is poised to be the go-to "budget" gaming laptop is using the GTX 960m despite it having a real 4 core CPU instead of some budget U series power saving CPU. It seems like such a wasted opportunity. What am I missing? Does NVidia's pricing structure for OEM's make the 965m unattractive? Is this half-step up from the GTX 960m such a huge price increase?

because more and more manufacturers skimp everywhere they can... i still dont know what posessed acer to lock down their machines to windows only...

970m sounds cooler

It could also be due to demand of the GTX 965m chip itself, it might not be available due to how many they can actually produce.

5W for a laptop can make a world of difference. And you need to factor in chip binning - average TDP means a highly binned 960M or 860M (same GPU core) can use as much as 15W less than a 965M
