GeForce Experience Glitching out

Is anyone else having issues with GeForce experiences glitching out and crashing? Also, for some reason the driver update errors when I try to install it, any ideas?

I'll try and re-install drivers in the meantime so I can screenshot the error message. Can't wait to get my R9 390.

 

I've already had to reinstall GeForce experience 4 times in the last year.

btw, for the 390, look into upgrading your PSU from your sig. I took a quick look at it - it's not very reliable.

I had the same issue and now I have to manually force the driver in. The problem seemed to come about with a failure on the audio part of the driver installation. You're lucky you can even get a signal right now!

To be fair, GeForce Experience has always been a broken piece of shit. AMD Gaming Evolved isn't much better but at least you don't need to to mess around with certain settings.

Thats why i love my amd pc... jk but i havent had any problems with drivers...yet... now windows, thats a different story.

Well, my older issue with the software came from antivirus. So, try disabling it for a bit just to see if the software will work and update your driver. But, I used to be able to not open the program. Also, Geforce Experience is kind of useless.

+1 on that PSU. I have one in my build for when I go SLI.

clearly youve messed something up yourself, because if installed properly GFX works perfectly

 

1) are you using windows 10?

2) did you upgrade to windows 10 and not do a clean install?

3) did you have an AMD card before and not use DDU to uninstall your drivers?

4) have you ever cloned your OS drive?

5) did you try selecting "clean install" when updating your drivers through GFX?

GFE likes to spontaneously corrupt itself for some people. Happened to me. 3 Times. In one week.

I've had those issues though - reinstalling GFE suite fixes it for a few days and it's back to it. Never had a single issue with my 280.

True. You have to really screw the install to have problems. Whenever I update drivers, I always do a clean install.

I have to disagree a bit here. I have had to fight with clean installs still having problems. Windows and nvidia GFX installed and it still failing updates. Some hardware configurations just don't seem to like GFX.
