Hello all

 

I've been reading issues from you people that AdBlock is causing some weird issues in Google Chrome and others. I also wonder why use AdBlock? Is it because most ads you see are irrelevant to the content YouTube channels make (Like seeing a movie ad on LinusTechTips when it should be a tech-related ad). I'm not against using AdBlock, nor am I in favor of using it. This is just my thought and I want to know why you use AdBlock and are most ads you see on your favorite YouTube channels irrelevant to the content.

I only turn on adblock when I listen to music. It's far too annoying.

I use Youtube Red :3 Ads are just annoying though when they distract from the main content.

Agreed. The only time I will watch an ad is if it's relevant to the content, like a computer tech ad for example.

I have the 5 seconds to spare every 30 minutes. And since Linus pockets at least some of the money, the better. 

 

I think the ads are directed according to adsense alone. It tracks your interests all over the Internet, not just Youtube.
