will this work in dual channel ? one 4gb cl9 1333 with 8gb cl9 1333 corsair?

my machine has 2*4 gb corsair vengence 9-9-9-24 1333mhz , i am thinking of getting another 8gb single stick same spec 9-9-9-24 1333mhz . so what will happen if i use one 4 gb and another 8gb . will this be 12gb dual channel ? or single 12gb ? my mobo asus h81-m cs has only two ram slots .

It will not, as the DIMMs need to be the same. As far as I am aware, anyways.

It won't run in dual-channel, but you won't notice.

It will be either single 4gb and single 8gb. Or dual 2x8gb and single 8gb. Either way, difference isn't noticeable in normal situations.

E: Sorry, didn't notice part about only two slots.

It will most likely run in flex mode, where you get the benefits of dual channel operation for the first 8GB of memory, and single channel for the rest.
