Best Monitor under $120

kmac1701

Hello all, I am looking for a gaming monitor that's under $120, mostly for gaming but also for watching netflix and normal web browsing.I would like to hear any and all opinions on any monitor under $120. I know I can't get a great monitor but an ok one is fine for me.I'd prefer 1080p if possible as well.

Thanks,

AOC/LG IPS panels. The colours are much better than TN of the same price.

AOC I2379VHE 23 inch <-- recommended http://www.microcenter.com/product/454717/I2379VHE_23_LED_IPS_Monitor

AOC I2269VW 21.5inch

I've got the 24" version of this: http://www.amazon.com/Acer-G246HL-Abd-24-Inch-LED-Lit/dp/B0098Y77OG/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1427672514&sr=1-3&keywords=IPS

It's not the absolute best monitor out there, but for the price, it's pretty decent.

Colours are decent, fairly bright, haven't had any major issues with it yet.

To be honest, I personally would save up a bit more for something that I will use almost everyday, and spend most of my day staring at.

The monitor is what you stare at all day, so as @Lanoi said I'd get something a little better than that.

Why cheap out on the most important part of the system?

That said, try and find something on Craigslist. There are always deals to be had.

I picked up my P2214H's for $120 each. Or $85 USD. Brand new, sealed boxes.
