There isn't a better motherboard for dual Xeons and if I went raid card I would have to get rid of a Titan or use a riser cable which can limit bandwidth

There are going to be 40 PCI-E 3.0 lanes on IB-E. There were also 40 lanes on SB-E, but they were PCI-E 2.0

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Murderbox doesn't have the same rad support and I will look into the redwine DAC

You should get one of those cases made by coolermaster showcased at PAX and add an M-itx build at the top :D

I don't really want to use a PCI extender because they can limit bandwidth and that motherboard uses Sata 2 and probably Sata 3 3GB/s

it's so awesome that it costs $1,337

Why not go with Xeon E5-2697v2,have 12 cores and a fairly high clock speed.Lower TDP too.

Also why not get a Mobo that gives 16 DIMM slots,8 is kinda a waste since a single CPU can also go 8 imo.
