I found two GTX 950 cards, one of them is a FTW Edition 2gb with a 1203mhz clock from EVGA for $159.99(with $20 rebate). The other is from Gigabyte, OC Edition for $155.99(with $10 rebate) with 1102Mhz base and 1279mhz boost also 2gb. I'm not really into the hardcore high end gaming, I just want to play something like World of Tanks at a consistant frame rate. This is also my first topic/post so I hope I put this in the right spot. If possible I'd like to get some feedback quickly as the prices are going to end today.

EVGA. Highly reputable when it comes to defects and RMA's.

3dmark practically simulates game play. No difference between a AAA/intensive title and 3dmark.

Any bench prior to November 2015 is invalid as the recent drivers increased performance by quite a bit.

I know  , that's why I posted it. Not only that you missed it being faster than a OVERCLOCKED 960 at stock speeds. Nails in the coffin.

960 should be repurposed as a 950 Ti and a proper 960 is needed :)

No shit. Hopefully the 960ti isn't a bust. Though what little news I've heard isn't good.

I don't think it's coming. Nvidia probably figured out they couldn't beat the 380X without making a card that ruins 970 sales :D

Probably accurate as I haven't heard anything from CES. Though I have little faith it would challenge the 970. And we already have the 970ti *cough* I mean 980. Shots fired

If anyone asks you never saw me.

It would. A cut-down GM204 (1300 CUDA cores) OCed balls to the wall (less cores = higher OC since less things that produce heat) = 970 stock performance for 60-70$ less

Maybe, would be fun to find out anyways.
