Just play Fallout New Vegas.

It's much better than Fallout 4.

Anyway , you are probably looking for any other open world game Bethesda has ever made.

Also , Witcher 3 is probably one of the best damn games I've played of all time. If you find the controls weird , then that is probably your fault. Honestly , they are pretty damn intuitive. You just have to play a little , you'll get used to them.

If you are still running windows 7, fallout 3 and fallout new vegas are better games, if you are on windows 10 good luck making them work. Other than that metro redux, and last light are fantastic linear post apocalyptic shooters. Witcher 3 is an open world rpg, one of the best games of all time but not like fallout.

As others have said, Skyrim is a good choice. However, I would recommend Oblivion over Skyrim, I think it's a better game. The story is more interesting, and the various guilds and factions are excellent, rather than being an after thought, like they seemed to be in Skyrim.

But I played Fallout 3 on Windows 10 and I didn't have problems.

Fallout 3 won't last 10 minutes for me or my friend. New vegas might get me an hour or even two.

I had the EXACT same experience as you with the Witcher 3, I couldn`t master the controls, but after a month I began playing it again and it was the best ever.

The game is just sooo good

to game or not to game, that`s the question

IDK, I liked Skyrim a little more. Closing Oblivion gates got so tedious after a while. Though it is fun being able to level your character up in Oblivion so that he can jump over city walls.

I liked playing Witcher 3 way better with my XBox 360 controller than with mouse & keyboard, as the game is mostly swordplay and hence no need for accurate aiming with a mouse.

That's a great idea!! Maybe I can use my dual shock 4 controller when playing it!
