Hello i need som html and css help is there anyone ?

hey i know the basic of html and css but i cant figure out this i got this menu at the top of my site http://rust-sof.comli.com/ and i want it on the left aswell under the FAQ tab i got a menu that drops down the left side i messed around with it only able to change the colors to the same as the top one but i cant finde how the rounded edges are made  i want basicly the look of the top bar look like the left one with no sub item just plain oneclick new page menu

Iknow english isnt my strong side xD 

 

i basicly want the black one vertical and not horizontal if you look at the url for my website you can se the black one
