Go to solution Solved by RFM-PC,

actually i managed to put together a nice list of components for just over $1000, and im sure he will be able to find these or similar components for a lot cheaper. list was made on pcccasegear.com

You could drop the ssd and upgrade to a better quadro or more ram or another of something else.

Also case was left out so he can choose

Hi guys,

My brother in law has asked me to build him a new computer for him that is going to be a workstation for his 3D architect work.

I don't know what components would best suit what he needs because I'm not familiar with the programs he uses.

The programs he uses are:

  • Autodesk Autocad Architecture 2013
  • Autodesk Revit 2013
  • Autodesk 3dsmax 2013
  • Adobe Photoshop

He's thinking of spending around £700 on it. ($1000).

Can you guys give me some ideas towards what this build should include?

Thanks.
