hi! i`m building a media pc and dont know what to put in it. need help/advice from u guys. what cpu? what motherboard? what gpu? trying to keep the cost under $200. btw i live in norway and we dont have craigslist.. so you`ll need to use ebay or amazon or something

Under 200? If you just want it for Netflix buy one of these things.

Nvidia shield tv does 4K so it's about a billion times better.

Never heard of it. I have this thing and it does the job just fine. It's fun because I can control it with the Ipad too.

I know right, most powerful mobile device on the market- it's got a Tegra X1 in it, which is amazingly powerful for a mobile chip.

But but what am I going to do with the Apple? I use my PS3 in my room to play netflix on and Apple for the living room. Maybe I need a television in the kitchen.

It's a console from Nvidia, more powerful than any I-pad:

 

I got one of these for my GF for Christmas.  It chewed on 4K HEVC 10bit 60FPS video for breakfast without even breaking a sweat.  It kinda terrifies me.  With HDMI2.0 the thing is basically future proof for the next 5-7 years easily.  It's expensive, but it'll offer a lengthy service life.
