Only reason to buy AMD FX.

Recon-UK

Consoles use 8 module 1.6ghz cpu's.

Crysis 3 shows 2 fps better than 3570 with a 6300, and 2 fps better than 3770k with the 8350.

So, people who buy these only play Crysis, and rely on console companies hardware choices.

It seems the loyalists cannot even help themselves.

What is this thread supposed to prove?

Can we PLEASE stop with the controversial AMD vs Intel threads? This is getting to the point where it's way more annoying that is it funny. The answer is "Whatever is better for your needs for the cost"

Hence, everyone can stop fanboying =/

Even in a topic that has nothing to do with AMD, it get's brought into discussion, and 2FPS is now a bottleneck! remember that!

2 fps, as Linus would say, is 'within the margin of error'.

So yes, posting about a 2 fps difference is kind of pointless

not evryone in the world need beastly single threaded performance you know. The fx range is more than enough for the majority of user out there. The usual choice for enthusiasts is intel but that doesnt mean amd is any worse. 2 fps is not the only reason to buy fx cpus and if it was then its a stupid reason...no one will care for an extra 2 fps unless they are benchmark whores.......if they had lets say an extra 15fps then it would be more acceptable, but they dont.....this thread should be closed. It has no purpose whatsoever....

As in my thread previously which was more or less decimated by AMD fanboys, Intel is better yes if you have the money for it. If you don't, stick with AMD as they have great bang for buck CPUs. I have not seen a lot of people who are extremely dissatisfied with AMD FX Piledriver CPUs. And with more programs being more multithreaded optimized, I don't see the reason as to not go AMD at all.

The only reason these fanboying threads exist is the people's need of acceptance of their choices and the knowledge, or let's call it peace of mind, that they have made the "right" choice by going with what seems to be most accepted within their respective community.

Ever since Logan's video these discussions have gone out of control, and honestly, it's quite pathetic to have these discussions here over and over and over and over again.

If you don't have the self-confidence to make the choice of components that's right for you, then I feel sorry for you.

And this rant about not everyone sharing you oppinion is even more sad. Like sad sad. Srsly dude, grow a pair.

What has this got to do with my decision?

The linked thread is asking if a certain CPU will bottleneck a GTX 770, some plonker with no sense brings in the Crysis 3 bench and goes on to say that the certain CPU in question is a bottleneck, and all future games will run like shit on them o.0
