Is it worth getting the E3 1240 V3 over the E3 1231 V3?

Literally no difference, save yourself some cash and get the 1231 :) (enjoy it btw, great chip!)

Hey,

Im gonna build a server soon and dont know which of the two cpus to get, the E3 1240 V3 or E3 1231 V3?

1240:

1231:

The two compared: http://ark.intel.com/compare/75055,80910

Dont really see a big difference between the two other than the Bus Type , so I guess the 1231 is a better choice?

Thanks
