Worth the wait?

Is Zen worth the wait? I can get an FX 6300 for $100 Canadian but with Zen around the corner is  it worth it? I'm a big AMD fan with my laptop sporting an E1-2500 on some crazy steroids performing much better than it should. An i5 is out of my price range so its either a 6300, i3, or wait for Zen. Is it worth it?

You still have a year to wait if going for Zen.

I would wait. Save your money. When zen comes out see how it performs and go from there. If zen sucks maybe think of a intel build. By then you'll have some money saved up and will be able to get something better then what you have now regardless if its amd or intel.

AMD can make it sound good on paper but we wont know until we get it.
