Running 2 GPU's with different tasks

CALBIX

It just ran through my head, can I use my GTX 770 as my main card and run a GTX 660 ti as a dedicated physx card or something else?

Absolutely, but the gains are small and very few things still use physx, i dont think hair works works that way either.

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?

TRIPLE KILL!

I don't suggest using a dedicated physx card. It rarely makes a difference. Just going to add heat and power consumption.

@CALBIX

Lol my phone bugged out

Do I need an SLI bridge for this.

(I have a 1000w power supply so it does not matter)

No you won't. You won't be SLI'ing the cards.

Having a high wattage PSU won't prevent heat.

Thank you

Yes I know having high wattage does not make a difference but trying something out in the tech world is always fun! I want to try this

True! Best of luck.

I, and most people I know, and most people online, have had basically no positive results from dedicated physx cards in the last 5 years.
